Alfred and Violetta’s journey returns to Gabriadze Theatre in a striking new adaptation. Inspired by the classic tale from Alexandre Dumas fils and Verdi’s opera, Rezo Gabriadze re-envisioned the play in his final year, breathing new life into this timeless love story. Directed by Leo Gabriadze, the production unfolds across Tbilisi’s Mtatsminda, Milan, Rome, Venice, Abastumani, Khashuri, and Dighomi, with the passionate lovers overcoming hardships during the tumultuous 1990s in Tbilisi. Duration: 75 minutes. Children under 12 are not allowed. Enjoy refreshments at the “Ar Idardo” bar—open to ticket holders from 18:00, and from 20:30 for all guests. Please be prompt, as latecomers will not be admitted after the performance begins.
