Blaise at Youth Theatre

Wed, Mar 25 · 20:00 Youth Theatre

Experience the wit and charm of Claude Magnier’s 'Blaise,' a joint production by the Nodar Dumbadze Tbilisi Youth Theatre and the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. Blaise—a young man—finds his small choices spiraling into a whirlwind of comic misunderstandings, with friends and foes hiding truths, each caught up in their own ambitions. Quick dialogue and authentic French humor keep the energy high and the audience laughing. Brought to the stage with a vibrant team: translation and adaptation by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili; directed by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili and Giorgi Sultanishvili. Artistic design by Ana Kalatozishvili, choreography by Gia Margania, music by Zurab Gagloshvili, and assistant direction by Natia Boshishvili. The cast includes Tamar Chanukvadze, Khatia Melkadze, Nika Khrikuli, Nana Metreveli, Mia Mikeladze, Tamar Kadagidze, Aleksandre Sharabidze, Ana Togoshvili, Lali Gerkenashvili, Aleksandre Kvezereli, and Nika Chkadua. Suitable for ages 15 and up. Performances at Youth Theatre on March 24, 25, and 28.
