Blaise: Classic French Comedy

Step into an evening of witty French humor with “Blaise,” presented by the Nodar Dumbadze Tbilisi Youth Theatre in partnership with the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. Inspired by Claude Magnier’s celebrated play, this production follows the young Blaise, whose harmless choices unravel into a whirlwind of comic confusion, misunderstandings, and laughter. Audiences will enjoy rapid-fire dialogue, sharp wit, and authentic French spirit as characters hide the truth and protect their interests—leading to hilariously absurd situations. Directed by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili and Giorgi Sultanishvili, with translation and adaptation by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili. Ana Kalatozishvili creates the visual world, choreography by Gia Margania, and music by Zurab Gagloshvili.
