The Ideal Family

Havel’s play “The Ideal Family” invites you to question whether perfection is just an illusion crafted for others. At Iliauni Theatre, characters desperately seek to appear exemplary while subtly criticizing those around them. This engaging comedy, staged by director David Tchakhrakia and translated by Maya Nachkebia, looks at the pressures of maintaining appearances and challenges the idea that perfect families exist. Design by Giorgi Ustiashvili and technical direction by Elene Gabisonia bring the story to life. Starring Ruska Makashvili as Vera, Giorgi Goguadze as Mihal, and Paata Papuashvili as Bedrzih.
