Blaise - Comedy Play at Batumi Puppet Theater
Based on Claude Magnier's classic French comedy, 'Blaise' is a dynamic and energetic play co-produced by the Nodar Dumbadze Tbilisi Young Spectator Theater and Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film State University. The story follows Blaise, a young man whose seemingly harmless choices trigger a series of intertwined misunderstandings, resulting in humorous and absurd situations. The fast pace, witty dialogues, and sophisticated humor create a joyful atmosphere on stage. The production features translation and adaptation by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili, direction by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili and Giorgi Sultanishvili, with artistic, choreographic, and musical design contributions. The cast includes Tamar Chanukvadze, Khatia Melkadze, and others. The performance is suitable for audiences aged 15 and above and will be held at the Batumi Professional State Puppet Theater for Young Audiences on July 19, 2026.
