Tbilisi International Ballet Festival 2026

The International Ballet Festival, founded in Tbilisi in 2017 and held at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, returns for its seventh edition from July 5 to 19, 2026. Under the artistic direction of Nina Ananiashvili, the festival showcases the State Ballet of Georgia alongside world ballet stars, Georgian dancers abroad, and the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch company. Important notes for attendees: latecomers will only be admitted at the first interval; a dress code is enforced (shorts are not allowed); and children under 6 years old are permitted only at day performances.
