Tbilisi International Ballet Festival 2026

The International Ballet Festival in Tbilisi, founded in 2017 and held at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, returns for its seventh edition from July 5 to 19, 2026. Under the artistic direction of Nina Ananiashvili, the festival showcases a blend of the State Ballet of Georgia, internationally acclaimed ballet stars, Georgian dancers working overseas, and the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch company. Attendees should note that latecomers will only be admitted at the first interval, a strict dress code is enforced (shorts are not allowed), and children under 6 years old are permitted only at day performances. This prestigious event celebrates classical ballet and dance culture in an elegant theatrical setting.
