Laurencia

Experience "Laurencia" from March 14–19 at Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre. This compelling ballet, set in two acts, draws from the classic story "Fuente Ovejuna" by Lope de Vega. Choreographed by Vakhtang Chabukiani and reimagined by Nina Ananiashvili, with music by Alexander Krein. The production features conductor Zaza Kalmakhelidze, scenic design by David Monavardisashvili, costumes by Alexandre Vassiliev, and lighting by John B Read. Artistic director: Nina Ananiashvili; orchestra led by Levan Jagaev. Children under 6 are welcome at matinee shows only. Please note: latecomers admitted after the first interval; dress code enforced—shorts are not permitted.
