Oxymoron - Silent Disco Theatre Performance

Tue, Jun 16 · 21:00 Movement Theatre

"Oxymoron" is an innovative theatre performance presented in a silent disco format at Movement Theatre. Audience members receive headphones through which each scene unfolds, allowing them to immerse in the performance's unique atmosphere. The actors use choreography and physical theatre to bring to life various oxymoronic situations—contradictory terms reflecting the paradoxes of daily life such as quiet chaos or fast queues. The performance breaks traditional theatrical forms, adopting a Happening style where the audience is free to move around, follow the rhythm, engage with the action, or leave and return at will. Directed by Ioseb Bakuradze, with music by Begi Moniava and choreography by Lasha Robakidze, the show features performers Kato Japaridze, Ana Levenetsi, Nika Shaburishvili, and Lasha Robakidze. The duration is 45 minutes, and the event is recommended for viewers aged 15 and older.
