Giorgi Nakhutsrishvili’s one-act Georgian fairy tale “Chinchraka”, which has become a classic of children’s dramaturgy, is once again brought to life on the small stage of the Tbilisi Theater for Young Spectators. “Chinchraka” is one of the most famous and beloved fairy tales of Georgian children’s dramaturgy, which combines elements of Georgian fairy tales, fantasy, humor, and folk motifs. This beautiful spectacle, created by combining elements of shadow theater, music, and circus, takes the audience on a journey into a fairy-tale world full of fantasy, humor, and adventure, where kindness, friendship, and courage are the greatest powers. A terrible demon threatens the country. People living in fear and despair no longer dare to resist. At this very moment, a simple but brave boy appears — Chinchraka, who believes in the power of kindness, justice, and friendship. Together with the king's daughter Mzia, he goes through a difficult and dangerous path, encounters many obstacles, but thanks to his courage and loyalty, he defeats evil. An amazing theatrical adventure awaits young and old viewers.
