The Autumn Of My Springtime
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" tells the story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, living in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria cares for the elderly grandmother Domna. Along the way, Boria becomes an unwitting thief, falls in love with Ninel, and embarks on many thrilling adventures. This enchanting performance combines masterful puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and cherished memories of the author. The show runs for 90 minutes and premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Children under 12 are not admitted. Audience members are invited to relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby before the show, which opens at 18:00 exclusively for ticket holders. Latecomers will not be admitted once the performance begins to preserve the intimate and magical atmosphere of the Gabriadze Theatre.
