Youth Theatre presents a fresh stage adaptation of Archil Sulakauri’s beloved fairy tale, “The Blue Deer,” directed by David Bakhtadze. This family show invites audiences into the gripping world of good versus evil. Pippa, a dog escaping her cruel master, teams up with wandering musician Olile to save the mystical Blue Deer from the ruthless hunter Chakhmakh Filthazar. Together with their forest friends, they brave dangers and face difficult choices, ultimately proving that kindness and loyalty can overcome darkness. With choreography by Nika Nanitashvili, music by Goga Beridze, and scenic design by Ana Dvali, the show enchants with vivid performances from an outstanding cast, including Malkhaz Shakulashvili, Nana Varamashvili, Sopo Peradze, Salome Tsurtsumia, and others. Suitable for children eight and older, performances are on May 16 and June 7 at Youth Theatre. Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes.
