The Flea & the Ant

Sat, May 30 · 14:00 Youth Theatre

Rediscover the cherished Georgian folk story 'The Flea and the Ant' on stage—a moving adventure about loyalty and selflessness. When an ant falls into a river, a brave flea does everything possible to save his friend. In his search for help, he encounters a pig, an oak tree, a crow, a hen, a millet seed, a mouse, a cat, and a cow. Each offers help only in exchange for something, but the determined flea persists, teaching audiences the real value of generosity and pure-hearted friendship. Directed by Dimitri Khvtisiashvili and Gia Margania, with music directed by Zurab Gagloshvili and choreography by Gia Margania. Performed by Rati Goguadze, Gia Margania, Nikoloz Paikridze, and Mariam Khukhunaishvili. Hosted at Youth Theatre on May 12 and 30, 2026. Show length: 40 minutes.
