Non Local Locals Comedy

Sun, May 24 · 20:00 Paata Guliashvili Comedy Theater

Experience a unique Georgian perspective in 'Non Local Locals' at Paata Guliashvili Comedy Theater. The play unfolds in a Hamburg refugee camp, where four Georgians—strangers to each other—share a cramped room, adjusting to new rules and navigating both culture shock and homesickness. Through daily misunderstandings, nostalgia, and their distinctive Georgian humor, they confront the challenges of exile, language barriers, and each other. As they struggle with nostalgia and dream of a better life, unexpected comic situations arise from their attempts to fit in and their longing for home. By the end, even after receiving the right to stay and work in Germany, a simple, heartfelt moment sparks their decision to return home, highlighting the resilient spirit of Georgians. Written by Nika Ramishvili and directed by Paata Guliashvili, the performance stars Nika Arabidze, Vasil Grigalashvili, Rati Tvildiani, and Paata Guliashvili. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Show dates: May 10–24, 2026 at Paata Guliashvili Comedy Theater in Tbilisi. Tickets are limited!
