The Visitor

Experience a new Georgian take on J.B. Priestley’s renowned play “An Inspector Calls” at the Sokhumi State Drama Theatre. Adapted by Lasha Imedashvili and directed by David Sakvarelidze, the story’s setting is shifted to the era of Georgia’s First Democratic Republic, offering fresh relevance for local audiences. The production features Badri Begalishvili, Natia Bunturi, Natia Chikviladze, Merab Kolbaia, Lili Khuriti, Giorgi Korghanashvili, and Nikoloz Tserediani. Duration: 90 minutes with no intermission. Suitable for ages 14 and up. Presented with support from Tbilisi City Hall, the play tackles enduring moral issues that still resonate today.
