Alfred and Violetta
Gabriadze Marionette Theatre presents a fresh vision of “Alfred and Violetta.” Inspired by Dumas’ novel and Verdi’s opera, this love story is transported to Tbilisi’s backdrop in the 1990s, as well as to Milan, Khashuri, Rome, Abastumani, Venice, and Dighomi. The work was reimagined by Rezo Gabriadze in his final year and brought to the stage by the theatre’s artistic director Leo Gabriadze. The result is a moving story of persistence in love, with a duration of 75 minutes. Before the performance, guests with tickets can enjoy the “Ar Idardo” bar in the theatre lobby, open from 18:00. For ages 12 and above only. Please note: latecomers will not be admitted after the show begins. Performances are scheduled for June 2026 at Gabriadze Theatre. Experience an intimate evening of theatre and emotion.
