Alfred and Violetta
Alfred and Violetta returns to the Gabriadze Theatre in a revitalized form. First staged by Rezo Gabriadze in 1981, this beloved marionette performance was rewritten by Gabriadze himself in the year before his passing, breathing new life into a timeless romance. The production was completed by artistic director Leo Gabriadze. Inspired by Dumas' and Verdi's world-famous narrative, the play unfolds across the shifting backdrops of Tbilisi in the 1990s, as well as cities like Milan, Khashuri, Rome, Abastumani, Venice, and Dighomi. Audiences follow the lovers through obstacles shaped by history and personal fate. This immersive 75-minute show is intended for viewers aged 12 and up. Before the curtain rises, ticket holders are invited to relax at the 'Ar Idardo' bar in the theatre lobby from 18:00 onward. Please note: latecomers will not be admitted, preserving the magic and intimacy of this unique performance space. Experience the renewed legend at Gabriadze Theatre.
