The Autumn Of My Springtime - Puppet Theatre Performance
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" is a captivating puppet theatre performance that tells the story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart living in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unintentionally, Boria turns to thievery, falls in love with the beautiful Ninel, and faces numerous thrilling and dangerous adventures. This enchanting production combines masterful puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and heartfelt memories of the author. The performance lasts 90 minutes and premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The theatre invites ticket holders to relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the lobby from 18:00 before the show. Note that children under 12 are not admitted, and punctuality is strictly observed to maintain the intimate and magical atmosphere of the Gabriadze Theatre.
