The Autumn Of My Springtime - Puppet Theatre Performance
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" is a captivating puppet theatre performance that premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is now staged at the Gabriadze Theatre. The story follows Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart living in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. After the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. This enchanting tale weaves masterful puppetry with traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and heartfelt memories of the author. The performance lasts 90 minutes and is recommended for audiences aged 12 and above. Attendees can enjoy the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby before the show, opening at 18:00 exclusively for ticket holders.
