The Eccentrics - A Poetic Theatrical Performance

Tue, Jun 23 · 19:00 Gabriadze Theatre

"The Eccentrics" is a theatrical play inspired by a fairy-tale narrative blending absurdity, satire, magical realism, and poetic drama. It tells the story of Ertaoz, a naive country boy who ventures into the world seeking his destiny. He ends up in jail, where he meets an old scientist imprisoned due to a tragic love story. Unexpectedly, Ertaoz receives an academic education from the scientist. Together, they devise a plan to build the world's first flying machine to escape earthly bounds and gain freedom. The performance lasts 90 minutes and is presented by Gabriadze Theatre. Children under 12 are not admitted. Latecomers are not allowed after the show starts to preserve the intimate and magical atmosphere. This production embodies the unique style of the Gabriadze World, combining poetic, ironic, and deeply human elements.
