Discover Georgia’s legacy with archaeologist Giorgi Bidzinashvili, leader of the Orozmani International Expedition. This full-day tour covers nearly two million years of history, from the world’s first winemaking at Gadachrili Gora to the earliest Europeans in Dmanisi and Orozmani. Experience live archaeological excavations and visit Kvemo Kartli’s Bronze Age Kurgans, exploring ancient tribal customs. Follow a route built on the newest scientific research. Tour highlights include the medieval Dmanisi wine cellar, evidence of Georgia’s wine tradition, and a regional dinner in a local restaurant fusing Kvemo Kartli and Svaneti flavors. The journey, departing from Tbilisi’s First Republic Square (Bicycle Monument) at 8:30, runs until 20:00 and is held every Saturday and Sunday between May 1 and June 21, 2026 (Georgian: selected dates; English: 17.05, 24.05, 30.05, 05.06, 13.06, 21.06). Price: 220 GEL—includes all transport, admissions, lectures, and dinner. For ages 18+, groups of 5–11 participants (extra 4x4 vehicles available if needed).
