Swan Lake Premiere in Tbilisi

Discover the magic of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, running from May 21 to 31, 2026. The production features a new choreographic version by Nina Ananiashvili and Alexey Fadeechev, based on the classical staging by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. The libretto is adapted by Nina Ananiashvili from the original by Begichev and Heltzer. Conductors are Levan Jagaev (May 21–24) and Sirio Scacchetti (May 27–31). Set design is by David Monavardisashvili with costumes by Cyrille Gassilline and lighting by Steen Bjarke. The State Ballet of Georgia is under the artistic direction of Nina Ananiashvili. Performances begin at 19:00; matinee shows on May 24 and 31 at 15:00. Ticket prices range from 15 to 120 GEL. Children under 6 are only allowed at daytime performances. Late arrival is permitted only during intermissions and formal attire is required—no shorts allowed.
