Swan Lake: Premiere in Tbilisi

Experience the debut of Swan Lake at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, with Pyotr Tchaikovsky's iconic score. The production features choreography and staging by Nina Ananiashvili and Alexey Fadeechev, based on the classic libretto by Vladimir Begichev and Vasil Heltzer. Principal conductor Levan Jagaev will lead performances on May 21, 22, 23, 24, while Sirio Scacchetti will conduct on May 27, 28, 29, and 31. Set design is by David Monavardisashvili, costumes by Cyrille Gassilline, and lighting by Steen Bjarke, with Tatiana Rastorgueva as ballet master. The artistic director of the State Ballet of Georgia is Nina Ananiashvili. All events will be at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre. Children under 6 are only allowed at matinees.
