Tin and Gold
Tin and Gold is a theatrical and poetic production based on Joseph Brodsky’s works. On stage, Grigory Kofman mixes the lyrical spirit of St. Petersburg with biting satire, telling a story of changing countries and identities — from Vasilievsky Island to Manhattan. Puppets and clowning bring Brodsky’s poetry to life, oscillating between philosophy, humor and drama. The performance blends the everyday with the existential, inviting the audience to reflect on life’s absurdities and deeper meanings. Directed and performed by multifaceted artist Grigory Kofman, founder of an early off-theatre in St. Petersburg, the show will be presented in Russian. Duration: 70 minutes, suitable for ages 16+. Venue: IMEDI – Centre of Culture. Date and time: 28 February 2026, 19:00.
