This Is a Show

What if you unexpectedly became the main character of a live performance? “This Is a Show” is a unique theatrical experiment breaking the barrier between performers and audience. On April 13 at Another Valley, unsuspecting Chatroulette users find themselves cast into the spotlight, faced with a live audience and the sign: “This Is a Show.” Neither they—nor you in the audience—know what’s coming next. Guided by Alexey Kiselev (journalist, curator) and artist Siniy Karandash, each conversation draws out stories, choices, and raw experiences. Every interaction is unpredictable, showcasing authentic reactions and confessions. In the second half, the audience is invited to answer the same questions and join the experience, blurring the division between viewer and participant.
