Joseph
In this inventive adaptation by Gega Gagnidze, Joseph is a solitary man, age 30, whose life in the tightly controlled Republic of Eden takes a sharp turn when he is abruptly awoken by a knock at his door. Inspired by Franz Kafka’s “The Trial,” the play dives into themes of authority and the surreal through evocative stage design by Mariam Dzmanashvili and a compelling score by Noe Kvirkvelia. The cast features Giorgi Sharvashidze, Giorgi Giorganashvili, Niko Pipia, and Natalia Gabisonia. Directed and written by Gega Gagnidze. Venue: Theatre On Atoneli. Show dates: May 2 and 3, 2026. Duration: 90 minutes. For audiences 18 and over. Explicit language; recording is prohibited.
