Woman in the Sand
Movement Theatre presents “Woman in the Sand,” a groundbreaking performance blending live acting with advanced animation and AI technology. Inspired by Kobo Abe's iconic 20th-century novel, the show explores the tight interweaving of bodies and systems in modern life. Directed and animated by Ana Gogishvili, with choreography by Kakha Bakuradze, and technical support from Ioseb Bakuradze. Performers Anano Iashvili and Giorgi Tsertsvadze bring the story to life with visual design by Revaz Khuluzauri. Produced by Ani Margvelashvili, Natia Shaorshadze, and Alexandra Rasoeva, with support from Tbilisi City Hall, Theatrikoni, Digital Drama School, and Bohista Tribal. Join us on April 7, 9, and 14 at Movement Theatre for this 60-minute exploration of reality and identity.
