Experience a one-of-a-kind performance at Movement Theatre on April 7, 9, and 14, 2026, at 8:00 PM. 'Woman in the Sand' blends cutting-edge digital animation, including artificial intelligence, with live acting to create a unique theatrical hybrid. Inspired by Kobo Abe’s acclaimed novel, this show questions the intersections of human bodies and technological systems in our modern world. Directed by Ana Gogishvili, who also crafted the animations, and choreographed by Kakha Bakuradze, the performance features actors Anano Iashvili and Giorgi Tsertsvadze. Produced by Ani Margvelashvili, Natia Shaorshadze, and Alexandra Rasoeva, with digital support from Ioseb Bakuradze and design by Revaz Khuluzauri. Supported by Tbilisi City Hall, Theatrikoni Producers' Organization, Digital Drama School, and Bohista Tribal. 60-minute duration. Recommended for audiences 16 and up. Venue: Movement Theatre.
