Network

Sat, Apr 18 · 20:00 Theatre On Atoneli

“Network” is a modern play inspired by Euripides' “Iphigenia at Aulis.” Written by Lasha Bughadze and directed by Salome Joglidze, with art by Ketevan Nadibaidze and music by Ana Zakareishvili. The cast features Davit Beshitaishvili, Baia Dvalishvili, Salome Maisashvili, Baia Kereselidze, and Luka Japaridze. The production examines a society in turmoil—where fear, instability, and propaganda overwhelm reason. Using humor and irony, the play reflects on classic tragedy in a contemporary context, exploring how people believe the unbelievable. There’s no easy answer; instead, audiences confront their own realities. Supported by the Civil Society Foundation and the City Department of Culture. Shows: April 18 and 19, Theatre On Atoneli. Duration: 90 minutes.
