Marina Revia
“Marina Revia” is a compelling play that follows a mother reuniting with her family after two decades behind bars. Written by Alex Chigvinadze and directed by Luka Intskirveli, the production features performances by Maia Khornauli, Salome Esadze, Giorgi Chachua, and Liza Rukhadze. Artistic design is by Teo Kukhianidze, with music by Giorgi Jikia and includes Manana Menabdi’s composition, “The Nightingale Whispers.” The story delves into the silence and pain within family ties, questioning if lost connections can ever be healed after long-held truths come to light. The play addresses the pressure in modern Georgian society to hide truths for the sake of reputation and explores the loneliness bred by these secrets. Performed in one act covering 80 years, “Marina Revia” takes place at Liberty Theater on April 14 and 21, 2026, at 19:00. Tickets: 34.99–39.99 GEL.
