One Jar of Wishes

Experience 'One Jar of Wishes' at the Youth Theatre—a captivating stage production for audiences aged 7 and above. Based on Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani’s fable, director Giorgi Sultanishvili offers a fresh, allegorical take through expressive movement and stylized choreography. The show artfully infuses Georgian traditional music, played on folk instruments and enriched by themes from Sulkhan Tsintsadze. Unique video installations and the visual language draw inspiration from Niko Pirosmani’s paintings. Dancers and actors narrate the story not with Orbeliani’s original wording, but through folk poetry and expressive dance, connecting classic heritage with contemporary stagecraft. The cast includes Sopho Peradze, Lali Gerkenashvili, and Giorgi Jikuridze. Choreography is by Nika Nanitashvili, with visual artistry by Nino Kitia and video by Irakli Khvtisiashvili. The performance runs 50 minutes. Age requirement: 7+.
