Exhibition of Hasan Khelimishi's Paintings in Batumi

From July 17 to 24, the Adjara Art Museum will host an exhibition of the famous Georgian poet and artist Hasan Khelimishi.

He was invited posthumously, when artworks from Tbilisi arrived in Sarpi and his works were discovered in the local library.

Most of Hasan Khelimishi's paintings are related to maritime themes – fishing, sailing vessels. His works are interesting not only artistically but also valuable as a source of knowledge about the region's past.
