Exhibition "The History of the Thread Seen from the Window" by Erikle Chinchilakashvili
Personal exhibition of Georgian artist Erikle Chinchilakashvili. The project explores the history of the building that housed the "Nino" sewing factory in the 1970s–1980s and presents it through a multilayered narrative about memory, time, and urban identity.
The exhibition combines four artistic layers: text, painting, spatial installation, and video essay. The metal installation created by the artist returns the space to its original structure, within which the paintings unfold. The video essay is based on Georgian television archives from the 1970s–1980s, accompanied by music from Soviet Georgian musicians VAZHMARR and Tete Noise.
Free admission.
