Lecturer Pavel Kolosnitsyn will explain what games medieval people played, how board games spread, and why they were an important part of daily life.

You will learn how archaeologists discover ancient game boards and pieces, and how reconstructing the rules of played games helps us understand life in the past.

Most importantly, you will have the chance not only to learn the history but also to play "Nine Men's Morris" and other simple yet engaging games that have delighted people for centuries.
