Rachmaninoff Concert

On June 28, 2026, at 7:00 PM, an evening concert will be held in the Small Hall of the Rustaveli Theatre.

Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto is a piece that marked the composer's personal revival after several years of severe crisis.

On this evening, the concerto will be performed in a rare solo version: a single grand piano will combine the soloist's and orchestra's parts. Pianist Tatyana Filina will perform in Tbilisi for the first time.

Between the concerto's movements, Tatyana will share the story of the piece's creation, and the program will also include other works by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
